The Ministry of Education's Sports Administration held the "2022 Sports Enterprises Authentication Program" certification ceremony on the 8th, with Vice President LAI, CHING-TE personally attending to express gratitude to all participating companies. A total of 118 companies earned certification this year, marking a historic high. Taiwan Fu Hsing's repeated accreditation underscores its commendable efforts in promoting workplace sports over the years.

Since 2016, the Sports Enterprises Authentication Program by the Ministry of Education's Sports Department has motivated over 500 enterprises to promote workplace sports, benefiting more than 1 million employees in the past seven years. Among them, Taiwan Fu Hsing has been certified three times in a row since its first participation in 2016, and has been recognized as a benchmark company by Global Views Monthly Special (Sports) for its dedication to sports.

With a history of 65 years, Taiwan Fu Hsing values its employees as its most important asset. To encourage them to exercise, the company provides both indoor and outdoor exercise spaces near their workplaces. Additionally, a sports promotion team comprising Human Resources, Staff Health Service, and the Employee Welfare Association work together to plan and execute sports-related activities. The company also established a comprehensive sports incentive and subsidy scheme to encourage employees to form their own sports clubs and participate in external competitions. Currently, Taiwan Fu Hsing has seven major sports clubs, including badminton, softball, yoga, and bowling, attracting more than 200 employees.

Taiwan Fu Hsing not only promotes physical fitness and advocates for a sports culture, but also utilizes its corporate resources for philanthropy. It hosts events such as the Fu Hsing Tennis Cup and the TPGA Challenge Tour and has also organized charitable "Healthy Walks" to encourage marginalized groups to participate and prioritize inclusivity through sports. Furthermore, before the pandemic, the company held an annual "Weight Loss for Charity" event. For every kilogram lost by employees, the company donated an equivalent amount of resources. Initially, the company collaborated with charity organizations to donate supplies, but since 2018, it switched to providing intellectual nourishment. Fu Hsing partnered with local bookstore TaKaoBooks, allowing weight loss participants to select books to donate to the Wei Wu Ying Reading Corner, creating a cultural hub in the community.

"We believe that combining sports with philanthropy is the most effective way to convey the values of diversity and inclusivity". Taiwan Fu Hsing LIN Yi-cheng, the Cultural Director of Taiwan Fu Hsing, said in an interview with Global Views Monthly Special (Sports). The company's primary aim, apart from caring for the overall health of its employees, is to promote sports. Taiwan Fu Hsing will lead over 300 employees and their families to participate in the Agongdian Cup National Marathon in late November. The goal is to encourage employees and their families to embrace an active and healthy lifestyle together.
