For vulnerable and financially disadvantage families, education is the best opportunity to make their way out of poverty. Based on this belief, the Foundation collaborates with social welfare organizations that share similar values to conduct diverse programs such as early intervention, after-school tutoring, and parental education. The aim is to empower children with the resources and support needed to overcome poverty, instilling in them the strength and confidence to make choices freely and create their own sense of self-worth.

Light a light house to guide the growth of knowledge
In order to encourage teenage students from vulnerable families to actively walk out from their existing environment and elevate their competencies, our Foundation has sponsored the Social Affairs Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government's "The Light of Dream-Teenager Reading Companion Program" in 2018. The program has 2 major topics "Servicing courses", and "Theme courses" to provide teenagers to self-explore and learn social skills, how to team work, planning, life education and other topics. These courses help the youth to build self-esteem and self-confidence. It is also a very good opportunity for them to practice interacting with other individuals, broadening their sight of view.

Nature with Love, grow tall like a tree
In 2006, the Foundation cooperated with Gangshan Social Welfare Center starting the The "Little Tree" Youth Reading Program. The program is to support junior high school students from vulnerable families in Gangshan District with after-class tutoring. The "Little Tree" Youth Reading Program has continued its service for more than 13 years. With the help of our Foundation's reading companion program, students establish correct value for their lives, helping many from broken families, regaining their self-esteem and confidence.

Math is Fun!
Math class has been a nightmare for many students. Incorrect guidance may lead to children having no interest in the subject. Enable to change this kind of situation; our Foundation has co-worked with the Math-Thinking Organization by holding the 3-day Math-Thinking Camp.
The Camps value is to support rural elementary schools with math educational resources. We provided different programs for children with math-learning difficulties depending on their grade. A series of fun and games were brought to the campus, inspiring children to interact and truly enjoy learning math. The Camp was free for all children, and for every child who attended was gifted with a set of Math-Thinking learning material to encourage children to learn consistently.
