Labor Affairs Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government held award ceremony of 2020 Happiness Enterprise recently. They invited experts and citizens to select the Happiness Enterprise in Kaohsiung city together. Taiwan Fu Hsing (TFH) was awarded in both category of “Gender equality” and “Welfare” at the same time according to its subsidies for maternity and childcare, which are superior to the law, and diversified welfare. This is also the second time for TFH to win the award after 2015.  

 

In order to encourage local enterprises to create a more friendly workplace, Labor Affairs Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government held the Happiness Enterprise Award for the first time in 2015. The selection, however, was quite different this year, for it was divided into 7 categories, such as salary, working hours, leave, gender equality and welfare this time. It was noteworthy that in the second stage, the selection was scored by experts and citizens together, and 8,500 votes were voted online by citizens, which was really active and intense. Finally, there were total 14 enterprises were awarded. Among these enterprises, 5 won double categories, and TFH was one of them.

 

Established for more than 60 years, TFH always pay attention to the balance of work and life and try to create a happiness workplace for its employees. For gender equality, TFH not only follows the law but provides additional leaves, such as menstrual leave, maternity leave and parental leave. There are also maternity and childcare subsidies available for men and women. If both parents are employees in TFH, the maternity subsidies can even be applied simultaneously. More than 600 children are accordingly benefited from then on.

 

For welfare, TFH has formulated diversified pension and subsidy. In addition to holiday allowance and year-end bonus, we also provide various subsidies for our employees in particular moment such as getting married, retirement and so on. Besides, we often use our creativity to hold special events; for example, free examination for motorcycle, book vouchers for birthday and epidemic prevention bonus on first half of 2020.

 

In addition to the Happiness Enterprise Award, in recent years, TFH was certified as sportive enterprise by the Sports Administration, Ministry of Education, as honorable healthy workplace by the Health Promotion Administration, Ministry of Health and Welfare, and receiving Arts and Business Awards by Ministry of Culture. These achievements prove nothing but our outstanding performance in terms of taking care of our employees. In the future, TFH will do our best to be responsible to our employees and keep create a workplace full of happiness.
