Oct 23 2025
On the 22nd, Taiwan Fu Hsing officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), jointly promoting the concept of “ESG for Culture.” This collaboration marks a new milestone in integrating corporate sustainability with cultural creativity. Taiwan Fu Hsing will combine its core industry expertise with innovative cultural content to open a new chapter in cultural storytelling and social good.
LIN Tzu-hsuan, Deputy General Manager of Taiwan Fu Hsing, stated, “A company’s responsibility is not only to manufacture safe products, but also to help make safety a part of our social culture. Through cross-sector collaboration with TAICCA and Mango Games, the ‘lock’ becomes more than a hardware device—it becomes a key to unlocking a society built on shared well-being. We hope that through gamified experiences, more people can understand the safety value behind locks and feel the company’s commitment to sustainability.”
Founded in 1957 and headquartered in Gangshan, Kaohsiung, Taiwan Fu Hsing is one of Asia’s most representative door hardware manufacturers. The company specializes in the R&D and production of door locks, electronic locks, access control systems, and door closers, serving as an OEM and ODM partner for numerous global brands. Beyond its dedication to technological innovation, Taiwan Fu Hsing upholds its mission of “giving back to society,” establishing the Taiwan Fu Hsing Cultural & Educational Foundation, which has long supported education, culture and the arts, and sports development. The company has been honored multiple times with the Ministry of Culture’s Wenxin Award, standing as a leading example of cultural sustainability among southern Taiwan’s traditional industries.
In 2021, Taiwan Fu Hsing launched the GoodLock Campus Safety Program, providing proactive assistance to schools by repairing and replacing outdated locks, while implementing a professional Master Key System to strengthen campus security and enhance urban resilience. Through this new collaboration with TAICCA, Taiwan Fu Hsing is partnering with Mango Games—an accelerator team from TAICCA’s third Cultural Startup Accelerator cohort—to co-develop “Fu Hsing Mystery Task Force,” a reality game inspired by the GoodLock program. By transforming the lock-replacement initiative into an engaging campus mystery narrative, the game combines online and offline interaction to connect safety issues with playful learning, raising public awareness of security in an enjoyable, accessible way.
This partnership marks only the beginning. Taiwan Fu Hsing will continue to explore diverse possibilities that merge industrial expertise with cultural innovation, aspiring to become a co-creator of cultural value and social trust.
