In November, Taiwan Fu Hsing was honored at the awards ceremony for the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Sustainable Performance evaluation, hosted by the Ministry of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The company received an S-tier rating (highest tier) across various evaluation categories, placing it in the same league as industry leaders like Cheng Loong, Asia Cement, and President Chain Store as a company exemplary in occupational safety. Additionally, in December, the company received acknowledgment from the Department of Health, Kaohsiung City Government as an awardee in the Health Group category of the Workplace Employee Health Service Promotion Program. This underscores Taiwan Fu Hsing's achievements in managing and promoting occupational health and safety. 


To comprehend the current state of disclosure regarding occupational health and safety among publicly listed companies in Taiwan, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration reviewed the sustainability reports from a total of 633 enterprises, comprising 488 listed and 145 OTC companies. This allowed them to gauge the state of leading occupational health and safety indicators. Additionally, they hosted the OHS Sustainable Development Conference to acknowledge benchmark companies that have demonstrated outstanding results in promoting workplace physical and mental health services, managing occupational safety and health, and enhancing employee well-being through their sustainability reports. On the other hand, the Health Bureau has also introduced five initiatives that offer incentives for businesses to establish healthy and supportive work environments, aiming to enhance employee wellness. 


As a company committed to ESG and sustainability, Taiwan Fu Hsing has taken the initiative to publish annual sustainability reports since 2013, comprehensively disclosing occupational safety and health and employee wellness promotion results. This year, the company was acknowledged as one of the top 10% performers in the “Other Industries” category. We will persist in our efforts to create a workplace that is safe, healthy, and dynamic for Fu Hsing employees. We also look forward to more companies prioritizing and implementing occupational health and safety indicators and practices, collectively contributing to the advancement of occupational health and safety.
