Taiwan Fu Hsing received the special recognition with the Corporate Culture Award for its “Fu Hsing Arts and Minds” (福興有藝思) employee arts and culture project.

On November 16th, the 16th Arts & Business Awards ceremony was held by the Ministry of Culture at Taipei's Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. Having already claimed honor for three consecutive terms previously, Taiwan Fu Hsing continued its award-winning streak by clinching two awards this year. In addition to securing the Silver regular award, the company also received the special recognition with the Corporate Culture Award for its “Fu Hsing Arts and Minds” (福興有藝思) employee arts and culture project.

The Arts & Business Awards, a nationwide accolade, were established to encourage local businesses to contribute to the advancement of cultural and artistic endeavors. Taiwan Fu Hsing engages with diverse cultural and artistic organizations, leveraging corporate resources through strategic collaborations, procurement, and sponsorships to support local cultural and artistic initiatives, provide platforms for cultural and artistic talents, and contribute to the development of the arts and cultural industries. Additionally, the company facilitates opportunities for employees to connect with the arts, integrating cultural experiences into workplace. This not only transforms employees into cultural consumers but also, through frequent arts exposure, cultivates a reservoir of innovative energy over time.

As the judging panel commended in their award remarks: “(Taiwan Fu Hsing), with employees at the core, has gradually nurtured local cultural consumers. Starting from the company itself, it sparks ripple effects into the wider local community, contributing to the sustainable development of the local cultural and artistic industries and attracting talents back to the region. In recent years, under the theme of “Opening Up Gangshan,” Fu Hsing has encouraged its employees to participate in preserving local memories. Additionally, as a player in the light industry, the company has taken part in the MAKE PRO exhibition at the Taiwan Design Expo, sharing essential aspects of daily life, such as door locks. Internal initiatives like the Ticket Exchange program have been implemented to nurture a culture of arts consumption among employees. Through multifaceted efforts, Fu Hsing has established new partnership models between businesses and the arts and cultural industries, with the goal not only to accompany and support but also to create a triple-win scenario for employees, the company, and the arts and cultural industries.

For over 20 years, Taiwan Fu Hsing has channeled its business achievements into promoting cultural education through the Taiwan Fu Hsing Cultural and Educational Foundation established in 2001. Grounded in the belief that “education is the starting point, and culture is power,” the foundation aspires to ensure that the people in Taiwan, both current and future generations, find satisfaction not only in material possessions but also in their spiritual and mental well-being. Looking ahead, the Taiwan Fu Hsing Cultural and Educational Foundation will continue to collaborate with various cultural partners, working together to create a sustainable ecosystem for the arts and business.
