The purpose of Corporate Governance Evaluation is to motivate firms to strengthen their business structure, foster a culture of management in Taiwan, carry out corporate social responsibility, and help investors and the corporates themselves to assess their management. Taiwan Fu Hsing has been making steady progress for the past few years, rising from the third tier (the top 21%-35%) to the second tier (the top 6%-20%) for the first time this year. It is a recognition that Taiwan Fu Hsing has been improving its corporate governance.

 

Holding Honesty as its principle, Taiwan Fu Hsing has set up a committee of social and environmental responsibility since 2013 that regularly has annual meetings. Since the same year, Taiwan Fu Hsing has launched and published its CSR report and obtained the certification from the SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance). Every year, the Company also deliberately discloses its impact on the environment, society, and economy in using publicity channels including physical publication and its official website. We hope the pursuit of profit also addresses the needs of its dependents including the employees and shareholders, living up to the goals of transparency, sustainability, and win-win situations.
