Taiwan Fu Hsing has created a limited-edition conceptual product, Touch Bolt X.

 

October 7th marks the official opening of the 2022 Taiwan Design Expo in Kaohsiung. Presented under the theme "Designing Taiwan with Taiwanese Designs" by the Bureau of Cultural Affairs, Kaohsiung City Government, this year's expo calls upon designers from all generations across Taiwan to gather in Kaohsiung, exhibiting their inexhaustible creativity and imagination. Besides gathering the strongest design expertise from all over Taiwan, Fu Hsing has also created a limited-edition conceptual product, Touch Bolt X, which will be showcased for the first time in the "Kaohsiung Creates" exhibition area at the expo.

The curatorial concept of "Kaohsiung Creates" revolves around the idea of "establishing a brand unique to Kaohsiung within its industries and daily life, while building an avant-garde Select Shop". With the support of TDRI, Taiwan Fu Hsing and U.10 Design have partnered to create FAULTLESS Touch Bolt X, an innovative smart electronic lock that prioritizes user-centric design. This collaborative effort combines Taiwan Fu Hsing's 60 years of expertise in lock R&D and manufacturing with U.10 Design's extensive experience in designing for user needs, resulting in a faultless product that is secure, modern, smart, and user-friendly. The letter "X" represents "explore", symbolizing the designer's boldness in exploring the limitless possibilities of door locks. In addition to its app-controlled mode, the product integrates GPS and Bluetooth automatic unlocking technology, enabling multi-user management. Apart from meeting the needs of traditional households, it is also a great option for rental properties, shared office setups, and Airbnb accommodations.

Touch Bolt X offers a user-friendly experience with features like app-based unlocking, door lock sharing, and access record tracking.

 

With its GPS and Bluetooth, Touch Bolt X can automatically unlock when users are in proximity, eliminating the need for keys or entering codes.

 

Besides the launch of this limited-edition conceptual product during the expo, Taiwan Fu Hsing will present in two major exhibition areas this year: "City of Creation – Kaohsiung" and "Designing Taiwan with Taiwanese Designs X 22 Taiwan Design Teams". The former will guide viewers to rediscover the industrial and manufacturing history of this port city, while the latter will bring together 22+1 top design teams from all over Taiwan, showcasing the public impact of design in domains such as architecture, graphics, music, fashion, and philanthropy. Enthusiasts are encouraged to visit during the exhibition.
