The 2022 Kaohsiung Young Art took place on the 11th at Pier-2 Art Center. This year, it showcased the works of 60 talented artists, featuring over 470 stunning artworks. The winners were announced on the opening day, including the "Judges' Choice Award" recipient WU Ping-yu, the "Emerging Artists Award" winners CHAN Wen-fu, LIAO Chia-hao, and LAN Yu-tang, as well as LIU Ssu-ling, who received the "Taiwan Fu Hsing Corporate Award" selected by Taiwan Fu Hsing Industry and Taiwan Fu Hsing Culture & Education Foundation.

Kaohsiung Young Art is the first art fair in Taiwan that targets young artists under the age of 40 who do not have a gallery contract. Every year, through an open call for submissions, it provides a platform for young artists to showcase and sell their artwork. Among 147 entrants, 37 artists have been selected to showcase their varied works this year, encompassing painting, photography, sculpture, and installation art. It's a true testament to the boundless creativity of the younger generation. One of the artists selected for the "Taiwan Fu Hsing Corporate Award", LIU Ssu-ling, captured everyday moments with her lens and transform them into abstract, experimental compositions by layering and manipulating colors.

This is the 4th consecutive year that Taiwan Fu Hsing has sponsored and supported Young Art, and the third year that the Taiwan Fu Hsing Corporate Award has been presented. LIN Yi-cheng, CEO of Taiwan Fu Hsing Culture & Education Foundation, stated that time and effort are what make things valuable. This is why, for years, Taiwan Fu Hsing has been in collaboration with the Pier-2 Art Center to enrich and heal our community through art and culture in these unpredictable times.

The Young Art exhibition runs until the 13th, featuring not only the cutting-edge art section but also the 'hiān-bán' themed exhibition area and a digital art showcase named "NFT: A Dream of Digital Twins". Welcome to enjoy the experience.
