Different lock functions are developed to meet the requirements of access and door controls. Taiwan Fu Hsing has developed two new functions to our cylindrical leverset product line.

Exit Lock Function ANSI F89

The Exit lock function is a function easy to understand. It is used specifically for exit /escape doors, which are designed for leaving the building but not entering. There are no keyways for this product and the interior lever always operates the latch but the exterior lever is always locked, allowing any personnel to exit the door but no one from outside can enter.

 

 

Intruder Classroom Lock ANSI F110

The Intruder classroom Lock function is literally a lock applied on classroom doors and prevents intrusion. Schools in the US have drawn more attention to campus security in 2018, due to increasing campus shooting incidents.

 

 

Door control hardware has always had an important role in security. Taiwan Fu Hsing newly developed the “Intruder Classroom” function. Differs from the traditional classroom function, the intruder classroom lock has keyways on both sides, allowing the instructor or anyone with the key to take action of lockout from the inside.

There will be no worries for student lock-ins because the lock can only be locked using the key and the interior lever always operates the latch to exit. The Intruder classroom is added to TFH’s Grade 1 YA series, and the Exit lock function is available in both ANSI Grade 1 YA Series and ANSI Grade 2 YZ series. The new functions also meet all existing protocols, UL fire rated, ADA and California fire code.
