The 2022 TPGA Challenge Tour, organized by Taiwan Fu Hsing Industries and with total prize money of NT$1.05 million, was successfully concluded at the Kaohsiung Golf Club today (5th). A total of 96 players, including 83 professionals and 13 amateurs, competed for the championship trophy and NT$200,000 prize money in the two-day event.

TPGA Challenge Tour is part of the TPGA ThreeBond Challenge Tour series. Players who rank in the top five in terms of total prize money on the tour can directly qualify for next year's TPGA Tour, so this series of events is also regarded as the pre-contests of the TPGA Tour. This year's TPGA Challenge Tour, the penultimate phase of ThreeBond, attracted many skilled golfers. Impressively, all five players ranking highest in the total prize money have entered the competition, along with three accomplished TPGA players, setting the stage for an intense battle. After a two-day contest, the championship was clinched by the host player, WANG Yu-wei. Before the tournament, he occupied the 4th spot in the prize money standings for the challenge tour. Winning this match essentially guarantees him a ticket to next year's TPGA.

As a sports-loving company certified by the Sports Administration, Taiwan Fu Hsing not only encourages its employees to play sports but also extends its influence to society. Supported by the golf-loving Chairman LIN Rui-zhang, Taiwan Fu Hsing has been a proud sponsor of the TPGA Challenge Tour since 2018, and starting in 2019, the company has been the title sponsor for a four-year stretch. Besides taking on the role of tournament hosts, Taiwan Fu Hsing annually contributes championship prizes to both the TPGA Tour and Challenge Tour, encouraging competitors to compete relentlessly. This year, with Chairman LIN Rui-zhang 's promise, both prizes have been raised from NT$300,000 to NT$600,000.

Founded in 1957, Taiwan Fu Hsing has been focusing on the lock-making industry for 65 years with the attitude of "Pushing Boundaries to Unlock Unlimited Possibilities". We hope that by organizing such sports events, more athletes will be encouraged to give full play to their talents and challenge their limits so that they can shine on the international stage in the future.
